The importance of honesty today

After watching an online discussion programme about the honesty people have or should have I realise it is really important.

Most people think the most important people we should be honest with is our family and friends. Sometimes if you have a good relationship with your family or friends it would be easier to trust them and be honest. That may not be the case and that is more difficult for you to be honest. Anyway if you have a good relationship you cannot always be honest, sometimes it can be hurtful. For example, if something bothers you that your friend, familiar does and you want to be honest and tell them you don’t like them to do that, it may  hurt your friend or familiar.

Moreover being honest with your friends and family you must be honest with those in authority, but before that you have to be honest with yourself. It’s quite normal to pretend things to ourselves. But sometimes we need to be straight. If you have made something wrong you have to accept that it’s wrong. In that way you don’t have to lie to those in authority. Most people have lied at some time or another to authorities about minor matters but for important things you must tell the truth.

As a conclusion, I think honesty is very important, because in that way people will trust you. It’s not always good to be honest, but most of the time yes.

True or fact?

In history class we watched a documentary about the difficulties of knowing the truth about historical events. Sometimes historical events could be true, or not. 

First of all the evidence is the most important thing. To prove that the historical event is true you need evidence. You need to be very careful of not believing what someone says if that person doesn’t have any evidence.

Secondly, something that is very important to avoid is popular culture. Popular culture is when a historical event is exaggerated or it’s changed by the people. In the documentary a man said that some stones get passed down to generations, that’s why it’s difficult to know if the historical event it’s true or just exaggerated. 

To conclude, historical events are difficult ti prove. You will always need evidence and more to prove that what you’re telling or listening to is not a popular culture.

Let's get into Eddie and Rodolpho

Eddie Carbone is Beatrice's husband and he has a niece, Catherine. Eddie is very jelaous because Catherine and Rodolpho are having a relation ship. With the pass of the play the audience can notice how possesive, strict and impulsive Eddie is. Also througout the play Eddie is seen as the tragic hero, who at the end, dies from what he belived in.

Rodolpho is Marco's younger brother. He is an illegal immigrant from Sicily, Italy. When he arrives to New York to his cousin's house Catherine fall in love immediately. They started having a relation ship and that was the reason why Eddie hated him. Also Eddie hated him because Rodolpho is an attractive young man with a lively sense of humour and is always the center of attention.

-Electricity for home,factories and water pumps.	-New farm land is not as good quality as was their old land in valley.

4. The dam in Cerro Colorado is located in Argentina in the province of Neuquen. This dam function is to ensure the provision of water, the control of floods and the generation of electric power. This dam  had difficulty in  filtering and getting drinking water, currently the problem is not known.

Aparato de Funke

En la clase de biologia realizamos el aparato de Funke utilizando una botella cortada a la mitad, un globo, cinta,guantes de latex y pagitas o cañito de plastico. Este dispositivo representa el sistema respiratorio; el guante se coloca en la parte de abajo de la botella de plastico cortada a la mitad y representa el diafragma, cuando el diafragma sube y las costillas vuelven a su lugar, el torax se achica y empuja a los pulmones que expulsan el aire por las vias respiratorias hacia afuera. El aire ingresa por las vias respiratorias (fosas nasales,faringe,laringe,traquea) (cañito de plastico) y llega a los pulmones (globo) que se infla.
